This past month, I was a featured speaker at a legal seminar discussing the subject of presenting trial evidence. My presentation focused on reviewing some principles of ancient rhetoric and finding their application to contemporary trial work. This past month also invovled my presentation at the inaugural meeting of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Roundtable, an invitation-only group of trial lawyers who will meet monthly to share ideas about improving our trial skills. The firm continues to work on heavily on civil rights cases, focusing on the implication of recent Arizona court decision of Deer Valley v. Houser and the Ninth Circuit ruling in Doran v. 7-Eleven. I look forward to discussing these cases with you in future blogs.
